The word Accountability is defined by Merriam-Webster as : the quality or state of being accountable; especially : an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one’s actions.
Being held accountable by someone else for actions can either help deter you from doing something or push you to do something. Accountability is a part of life whether you want it to be or not.
We’re held accountable by someone everyday. At a job we’re held accountable by a boss. Don’t produce and we’re out of a job. In public we’re held accountable by law enforcement. Break a law and you might get a free ride in the back of a police car. [Read more...]
