Yes that’s right I said it. Eat more to lose weight! What am I talking about? Metabolism, that’s what I’m talking about. Most have heard of metabolism but most don’t know it’s possible to control it to lose weight.
The big misconception is eat less to lose weight. This will work to a certain point. If you have a lot of weight to lose not eating enough will have the opposite affect. When you eat too much the body stores fat as energy reserves. When you stop eating too much and then don’t eat enough your metabolism slows down to keep energy reserves. Even if you exercise your body will just release enough reserves for energy during exercise then drop back down.
The ideal weight loss situation is to keep your metabolism high. The best way to do this is to eat the right amount for your body size and weight while performing an exercise routine. I always advise eating five small meals a day keeping the proper balance between carbohydrates and proteins for your fitness level.
