Forget the freezing cold photo shoots in bikinis, men whistling as you walk by, or ladies stuffing phone numbers in your pockets and other crazy stuff that happens to Chippendale looking men and supermodel women. Sure, who wouldn’t love those things to happen, but we normal people have much simpler desires to feel good.
We want to look good naked, have our spouse or partner kiss us passionately, and finally feel good about ourselves. We want the freedom to buy that bikini with the string ties, that little red dress, and watch as others turn to do a double take at our butt as we walk by. We want the energy to do more in our businesses and careers and to help others.
It’s a simple dream. A dream that has a right to fulfillment and yet some of you might wonder…
Will I ever do it?
Do you really have what it takes to exercise so you can lose weight, or are you just a couch potato? Is it realistic to expect results from eating healthy, or is that triple stack hamburger really okay for you to eat? Can you really get a slim body, or is that just a picture in your mind?
Yes, it’s fun to imagine yourself as slim and feeling good about yourself, but sometimes you wonder if it’s just that: a fantasy. This is reality, and in the space and time of everyday life, fantasy is only found in your mind. If you only sit on the couch, you accomplish nothing.

How I Lost Weight from 260+ lbs.
At the age of 36 I divorced and won custody of my son. However I suffered from depression and was severely overweight. I stopped weighing myself when I reached 260+ lbs. I had no energy. My joints and feet hurt all the time. You can see how I looked in one of my pictures where I’m holding my son, who was then two years old.
I decided to take control of my life and get in shape. I began eating smaller portions and cut out all the fatty foods, fast foods and junk. I cut calories way down.
I began exercising lightly by doing sit ups and jogging. It didn’t take long for everyone to notice the weight falling off. The problem was even though I had cut out all of the bad stuff, I wasn’t eating enough or eating balanced. My weight kept falling off until I reached 145lbs. I looked sickly.
After doing lots of research, I found diets that added protein and would allow me to exercise with weights. I bought a popular brand of home gym and started using it. Along with the new diet, I got results but not what I had hoped. I was definitely feeling good but seemed to have reached a plateau where I wasn’t getting any bigger or having any definition.
I kept seeing this infomercial on TV about a fitness routine called P90X. After watching it several times, I liked what I saw. I listened to all the success stories and made the decision to buy it. Once it arrived I looked it all over. I took the fitness test and after some time was ready to begin my transformation.
Many who have already done P90X know that if you say it is hard, that is an understatement. To say I was sore the first week is an understatement. Even though I had been working out it was nothing as extreme as this.
Man I was SORE. My whole body hurt…. but in a good way.
I told my friends, who worked out a lot, how hard it was. They all sort of laughed. My whole idea of Yoga was so wrong. My introduction to Yoga-X left me feeling whipped and thinking Yoga was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life. I couldn’t believe I was going to have to do this every week for 3 months, twice a week on recovery weeks.
I tried not to think about it and day in, day out I put the video in and pushed play. Next thing I knew it was the last week and I felt like a million bucks! Not sure what I would do after I finished I decided, “I’m doing it again!”
So I did! Second round is just as hard as the first round the only difference is I pushed harder because I was stronger.
After Round 2 P90X I decided to give INSANITY a try. After my first day I thought there was no way I’d be able to do 60 days of this insane hard program. Somehow I did! I put the disc in everyday and on day 60 I could honestly say I was in the best shape of my life. Even better than when I was at my peak at 26 years old.
One week after finishing Insanity I ran the Spartan Race. An almost four mile obstacle course. I finished with an average time of just over 1 hour. There was no way I could’ve done this just a year prior.
How I Started a Business Doing What I Love

Well, that’s exactly how I felt after spending seven years in a job that kept me stressed to the breaking point everyday.
I always did my best but when the company started having financial trouble all of a sudden all my hard work and long hours meant nothing. I was let go like yesterday’s garbage.
Wasn’t sure what I would do for income but I somehow knew I would survive. In between job hunting I was doing things to better myself and put me on the road to self employment. After being laid off for over a year I took a very menial job way below what I had done prior. I immediately regretted my decision. It was worse than my previous job but with less pay and longer hours. It didn’t take long to decide it wasn’t worth it.
I resigned from making someone else rich while risking my physical as well as mental health at the same time. Every time I went to work, I mentally had to “check out” because doing a menial job for hours on end gave me hours to think of what I wanted to be doing instead…
I started posting on Facebook about the exercise routine I was doing. I started posting the healthy meals I was creating and even gave recipes. I started talking about diet and nutrition to get people’s attention.
I received comments, people asking for help and even some of my friends hired me as their coach.
In exchange, they bought programs through Beachbody under my coach referral. Even those who didn’t buy anything from me, I helped them.
In just five short months one client already see’s how he will meet his yearly goal of a 25% increase in income and see’s the possibility of a 50% increase. That’s 50% more income in his business than he made just the previous year.
Another client lost over 60lbs. in 6 months and is still losing weight.
